The purpose of this blog is to be an open brainstorming board where I can hopefully discuss topics that young professionals can resonate with. The goal is to do this with complete discretion and anonymity. The irony is that while my face my be anonymous my thoughts and words will be broad casted for the entire world to see and that is pretty powerful.
I am a young woman in the last months of medical school in a 'Stepfordish' like small town near the desert but I grew up among sky scrapers and the bustling noise of the big city. Unfortunately, I am predictable enough that I am going through my "quarter life crisis" where I repeatedly question all my actions in the past and am piecing together my future. The puzzle, that is my future, has come with a complicated assortment of pieces, no instructions and seems to be missing parts. As if someone had already attempted to piece it together, failed and forgot to put all the pieces back in the box. So here I am the quintessential professional woman who longs for adventure and intellectual stimulation with the unattainable charm and chivalry of a time long lost. This adds up to a very confused and grincheaux ( grumpy) young woman.
